Music & Worship Minstries

Hi, my name is David Bussue and I am the Minister of Music for the Carter Knowle Road Seventh Day Adventist Church.

This means that I generally lead the praise & worship and coordinate the musicians and worship team of the Church.

This is very much a team effort, and at this Church we are blessed to have a committed and consistent group of musicians and worship team.

It is our firm belief that our job is simply to lead worship and not to impose how you worship when you join us in a Service.

During worship time your personality, which let’s face it is God-given, will shine through – if you are a quiet person, then that’s likely how you will Worship, if you are a louder person, then in all likelihood, that will be reflected in how you Worship too!

We firmly believe that it’s now how you Worship that’s important, the important this is to Worship.

We believe that Praise and Worship is 3-fold:

• Firstly. It’s about adoration to God. This is the most important aspect, and will influence and determine how we approach the worship experience.
• Secondly, worship will edify us . If we are going through struggles, then start to worship. If we have something for which we are grateful, then start to worship. The difference this approach this makes in your life will be immeasurable.
• Lastly, your worship will encourage someone else, particularly if you share your experience with them. It’s hard for anyone to challenge you when you’re sharing your own
  personal experience of what God has done for you.
