Praise to God and congratulations to Thomas Tannassee MB., ChB., BMedSci. who has completed his degree at medical school and will be formally graduating in July 2009 as a medical doctor.
Drop-in 10th Anniversary
It was 10 years ago in May 1999 that the Carter Knowle Adventist Church Drop-in Centre began.
Sister Bussue had recently finished her paid work and was considering how to use her time. She was well aware that there is no such word as ‘retirement’ on God’s job description for Christians and had no intention of ‘rusting out’ when she could ‘wear out’.
God placed in her mind the idea of a Drop-in centre each week at the church where not only food would be provided but there would be bible study, prayer and visiting speakers talking on topics of interest and relevance to the visitors. Read the full report.

Summer Evangelism 2009
Saturday 25 July to Saturday 1 August. A District Campaign will be held at Manor church from Sabbath July 25th- Sabbath the 1st of August 09. The title of the campaign is “Life to the Max”. Begin praying for this time and inviting your friends also. As part of the Campaign the Noah’s Ark Playscheme will be running. Helpers from Burngreave will be needed as well as a local coordinator. Youth Retreat 2009
17-24 July 2009. Youth Retreat : New Venue for 2009, Smallwood Manor. 17-24 July 2009. This is an exciting new venue which includes indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, large grounds plus much much more.
